The fort consists of a series of courtyards, mahals, halls and gardens. It is mainly divided into four main parts; Each section has its own yard. Fiordland, New Zealand

If the name of this region of New Zealand sounds like it came from Scandinavia, it’s not by accident. The terrain’s steep valleys and sheer cliffs are reminiscent of the fjords that dominate northern European countries, but similar “fiords” are an entirely different natural phenomenon. Wulingyuan, China

This is another place you probably haven’t heard of, but have almost certainly seen somewhere online. Even if you haven’t noticed it yet, the otherworldly Willing Yuan Valleys were the base for the alien planet Pandora as seen in Avatar (2009). Among the most notable features are the giant sandstone pillars, which rise hundreds of meters above the ground and present a surreal sight when viewed from a vantage point.

Jökulsárlon Beach, Iceland

We won’t pretend Iceland is an undiscovered gem, but not many people have been to Diamond Beach. It’s a fitting nickname for Jökulsárlon, a large glacial lake filled with glistening blocks of naturally occurring ice. For film lovers, Budva is also known as the capital of Montenegrin cinema.

Singystone Forest, Madagascar

Tsingy de Bemaraha is a vast nature reserve in Madagascar. It received UNESCO World Heritage status in 1990 thanks to its wildlife and unique character that is difficult to understand. Rising 70 meters (230 ft) into the air, the cliffs are razor-sharp limestone structures that conceal a lush landscape below. To help adventurous tourists, the local authorities have built a series of rope bridges along the peaks to provide access to the area. Just remember, the word tsangi roughly translates from Malagasy to English as “where no one can walk barefoot.”

St. Michel d’Aiguille, France

Saint-Michel d’Aguila (Saint Michael of Psyche) should not be confused with the well-known Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, although both sites are notable for their difficult-to-reach locations. In the case of the Saint-Michel d’Aiguille Chapel, this is due to the fact that it was built atop a volcanic plug 85 meters (280 ft) in the air.
